i see Dom as SR's mid game.

instead of mid getting one extra kill and snowballing out of control.....for the next 30 min.....you just might have a shot of comming back.

but the OPS post was quite entertaining.

Personally I see Dominion 2 being more likely than Summoners Rift 2

yeah basically

Last hitting in Dominion has a much greater effect than it does in SR.

Part of the future, sure... the future - hardly.

Maybe... but it is still very insignificant compared to the standard map. Also take not that Dota 2 will eventually allow mods to be made = mini games. Also, Dominion itself is not a new concept. Even Dota had a mode called -capturepoint, but hardly anyone played it just like Dominion.

In theory League of Legends should be way ahead of Dota in terms of popularity (playerbase) but this is ironically not the case. Despite all the technical limitations of Dota 1, it still has the larger playerbase. There are several million players in China alone. The variety you talk of is quite exaggerated. League added Runes & Masteries which although on the surface seems to add "variety" does nothing more than cause a slight rift in balance, even before a match starts. The game itself lacks variety. Champions are nowhere near as unique as the heroes in Dota 1+2. They have but a subset of heroes' abilities. Items are nothing but stat sticks in LoL - whereas in Dota, it adds useful actives that can turn a fight around. LoL may be fun, but that's all it has. It simply does not have the quality and variance of Dota 2, nor the competitive edge.

LOL this is League of legends! Over 300 apm?! This is not starcraft where you need that insane APM to MAcro, micro, scout, etc. League has four, FOUR abilities, you right clicking to move, and one or two active abilities to use. You might use them all in a short burst but where is your APM coming from spamming move commands?!

LOL is a team tactics game. Skill is not part of LOL, LOL is all tactics. Thats not a bad thing but having good APM in a game of lol means nothing.

Pointless troll thread, already done so many times.
Here's a thought: Try not bashing other segments of the community. DotA 2 is just around the corner and LoL is going to have a tough time competing with that, especially considering how badly so many people seem to want to fragment the LoL player base.
