If you're good at this game, and have made some observations, could you type a few sentences?

Team comp matters. Be sure to have a good mix of something tanky/CC, AP, and AD, close and distance champs. Some champions are more viable than others, but it depends on your team comp. Try to counter the enemy team as much as possible, and if that is not available, pick what will help bolster your own teams weakness as much as possible.

I also try to avoid redundant roles. Try not to have 2 AD carries or 2 AP casters etc.

It also helps to consider poking abilities. Having at least one poking champ can do wonders for your team's ability to fight at an enemy point. Champs like Maokai or Ezreal fill the role easily.

If you have no pokers, its usually better to draw the enemy into the jungle somehow, be it by sending one guy to backcap or bushwhacking enemies that try to roam.

You want a strong bottom. Someone who can hold a point against two but can also push against one.

At top you want someone tanky. I'm not talking Lee sin built tanky (or similar) I mean malphite alistar amumu or garen.

You need a Mage with some CC a ad champ. And your last spot needs to be something that compliments your team or counters your opponents. It could be an assasin, support, carry... anything really.

As a note definitely avoid two carrys. It makes your team too squishy.

Team comp is important, but its not 100% fixed and must follow religiously (like SR)
As long as you have something beefy, something you can push, and good spread of AP / AD , you will do fine.

Sometimes its ok to have an average level of team comp, esp. if all 5 of your team knows well the champ they are playing.
It's better they play another AP and can do well, then an AD who they don't know how to build at all...

On the other hand, If you only have 1 sided champ in your team (like 5 squishy AP assassin), then good luck...

Champs that have map control ults, IE: panth, tf and gp do wonders for defending. TF not nearly as much as panth or gp, but it helps nonetheless.

Its all about the Juggling! you juggle guys at your towers and they go down fast. Thanks are important as they rush as the others trail in to cap. then can come in after to finish off the hurt heroes.
