Okay so everyone in LoL seems to have this problem. The Ranked Solo Queue and Normal 5v5 games... I propose a new ranking system.
Basically what this should be comprised of is integration of an Achievement system. Since this is already in the works for you guys it shouldn't be a hard system to devise. What you need to do is make each achievement worth points. These achievements shouldn't be "Win 10 games with Xin Shao"... They need to be more focused to weed out the competitive and the "I don't get mad when I lose Im only trying to say "QQ" as many times as possible".
Some possible suggestions?
Tanks: Certain amount of damage taken in a match
DPS: Kill streaks and amount of damage given in a match
Support: Amount healed.
Gold harvested in a match
These all should be obtainable but out of reach of your average player. You could even create different levels which would only help gradually advance newer players to higher levels of play.
Level 1: 30,000 damage taken
Level 2: 60,000 damage taken
Level 3: 70,000 damage taken
