-when you can't remember what camps are where in the jungle.
-when you're in a teamfight within 30s of leaving your base.
-when you can't figure out why there's no health relics around.

Ill agree that that may be exciting, but when its all that build up (6 towers having been downed) leading up to one swift event at the end of the game (a lucky shot from a long ranged ult) compared to the constant "Oh ****, where do I need to be that will benefit us the most?" running through your head as you play dominion...

Im leaning towards the latter.

All that **** that happens in between each downing of a tower can take anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour. Thats a lot of dead space in between.

just my $0.02

If you're good at SR there is no 'dead space' in the game. You should always be thinking about what you're doing strategically or otherwise.

When you play your first Summoner's Rift game in a month and...
... you're confused about starting at level 1.
... you've forgotten how to last-hit properly.
... you wonder where the hell all your gold is.
... waiting in base for 100 gold seems like a reasonable idea.
... it takes forever for you to walk across the map.

- when you try capping the tower after a well executed tower dive in SR...

happens to me all the time, for real :P
and I only play SR when i really need to get asleep.
