Bitter taste

The past few days, I've been having this incredibly bitter taste in my mouth that does not want to go away. It's comparable to the bile of vomit that only occurs with an empty stomach. Eat something? The puke-like taste comes back within minutes. Brush my teeth? Still there. Mouthwash? Try again. It's really bothering me and I don't know whether the cause is medical or dental. It's not like I have bad hygiene- on the contrary, I take good care of myself.

Just... make it stop. Ugh.

Googling has led me to believe it could be acid reflux. Perhaps research more and/or see a doctor.

I wouldn't doubt this. I have had acid problems even since elementary school. I always found it very strange.

It could also be a food allergy or virus, if WebMD's incredibly scarce information is of any use.

Probably, but this is the first time I've used it and it had next to no information.
