i have a satalite l505 integrated graphics card and i read in some places that i cant change it since its on the motherboard and if i really cared id need a new motherboard, my question is i was wondering if there was a way i could just stick another one in,that isnt on the motherboard just its own seperate device,is this possible?

The vast majority of modern discrete notebook GPUs are soldered to the motherboard which makes them non-modular. They're only modular in the very highest end of desktop replacements and mobile workstations via MXM. Even if you found a discrete and modular GPU that fit inside your notebook and plugs into your motherboard, you'd also have to consider its power usage and heat generation.

The answer is "No." It is time for you to upgrade.
