Why do we need a personal score at all?

You get points for kills, capping points, standing on point and interrupting.
You're not the one capping point if you die.
Thus players with good d/k ratio are the ones that usually get good scores. Irrelevant to how they got their ratio.

You only get 5 points for interrupting and standing on a point. Barely even noticeable.

I can run around and backdoor the whole game and always get the highest score. You get 30-50 points for neutralizing, another 30-50 points for capping it, AND another 30-50 points for dying near/on it. Just suiciding on an enemy point will give you 30-50 points.



There have been countless games where I've had the best KDA and didn't even place in the top 3. The player with the most captures and neutralizes is usually the one with the highest score.
