If they can land her skill shots, she's a boss. If not, she's junk. Pretty much the same with all skill shot champs (well, most all). I've seen some uber Ahri's and some garbage ones. Same with Anivia and the list goes on and on.

What do I think about Lux as a teammate? Useless.

Teammates never hit skill shots.

theres way better picks, her cooldowns are way to high, mainly the snare and slow, she can only really shine if you have high burst teammates that cna kill people that get snared. however in dominion where its so fast paced her cooldowns are her downfall ~7 or 8 seconds after using combo where she cant do anything i would much rather have analistar on my team his cc is way better q can hit anyone around him, not just 2 aqnd he has a knockback and 75% dmage mitigation

So you go play Lux if you like her and stop getting mad at people for not thinking she is awesome.
I'm not getting mad at you at all, but I sincerely believe youre not familiar with her enough yet.

At level 3 with maxed cdr, her ult comes off of cooldown, what??? every 24 seconds?

Trap your opponent with light binding so they cant dodge. This automatically triggers her passive "Illuminate". Hit her with her ult whill she is rooted which actually triggers her ult doing extra illuminate damage on top of ult damage, and refreshing the illuminate passive on the enemy for extra damage from an autoattack if they arent dead yet.

You can set that all off while hiding safely in the fog of war defending a key turret. The abilities have ample reach. In which case the enemy also takes a turret hit, and there aint much left of their health after that if they live and they run for their life. Easy kills. She can 1v2 on a turret rather well too generally. If she goes down and you have any skill with her, at the very least the other two are both almost dead.

Learning to land her light binding is key.

Lucent singularity is crazy good. Its utility is wicked. It just got buffed with reduced cd btw. You can scout anywhere that you need to with almost complete safety, and if there is an enemy there, trigger it. Its an awesome farming tool coupled with her passive. Level this up first if you lane bot with her. By 4th level on it, you will clear minions without autoattack, before that, they are easily cleared with autoattack because of her passive.

And yes, I believe Lux is one of the best bots in the game, giving yorick, heimer, shyvanna, Karthas, Malzahar all a run for their money if not punking them. Oh, and sorry Ryze fans, she punks ryze flat out. Get flash for a prayer.

Multiple builds are viable on lux.

Getting ganked? a double root, and an aoe slow, both with decent cd. You will get tagged chasing her, probably with the lightbinding ult combo spoken of already, and when you chase her, you and your teammates naturally fall into a nice line for her to land everything she has. It hurts to chase lux.

Damage? Oh, she does damage. you determine the appropriate level of damage verses utility that you want using her build to do so.

Also, as a support champ, her shield doesn't receive a global nerf the way other supports abilities do that heal.

I've played Lux some on Dominion. She's dependent upon her team, but amazing if your team already has decent damage output. The shield is nice at windmill.

she is the opposite of dependent on her team, unless you give her a team dependent build. She is an extremely versatile champ as I've outlined above.

Her cooldowns just got reduced on her aoe slow, and she has an extremely low cooldown on her ult. try building her with some cdr. although even without it she is a beast.

Your a playing her more toward the support end of the spectrum, which is good, but you can also focus on heavier damage, and she can kick it out pretty good if built for it.

Lux is more of a supportive caster. Needs her teamates to take advantage of her root. She also needs active combat to land her skillshots. She is good at interupting captures with those skillshots though. And that root and slow works wonders vs divers. She is defenitly viable, but not OP or sleeper. I see here quite often, just like janna actually.
