Hi,

I am running Windows 7 on a Sager laptop. I love this game and wish I could play easier, but high ping and lag really ruin the experience for me. Here is my DxDiag and some log posts. I'm not quite sure about the logs, but hopefully these are the ones that will be helpful to you.

Thanks!!!!!!

Also, I used the Netalyzr and received some results.

Here they are...

Looks like you do have quite a high ping. You could try using different DNS servers because the ones you're using are kind of slow. You could to using Google's DNS Service to see if this helps at all with your lag. You might also want to try pressing Windows Key + R and typing in cmd, clicking ok, then typing in these commands in that window:

Code:
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
netsh winsock reset
It should tell you to reboot your computer, so do it.

Hi! Thanks for the response.

I tried both suggestions and while it seemed like it might have gotten better at first, the lag and high ping eventually came back =(

With your DNS servers set to the google ones, run the netalyzer test again so we can see if it got rid of some of the network latency

Also make sure you have all your ports open in any firewalls you have, and your router.

are the network ports. there are a couple links below that might help with explaining how to do it on your specific router if you don't know already

Hi again! Thanks for the response.

I tried opening my ports. I don't have any firewalls up.

Here is my new Netalyzr results. Unfortunately, it seems bad still.

Im having the saving problems every once in a while, by that I mean 1 out of 3-4 games I get uber ping jumping from 100s-900s frequently, and it's hard to play when you randomly freeze, because most of the time it's in an important fight :s. Anyways here's my test results, any help appreciated, thanks.

I'm not trying to be rude, but that's not my problem. It isn't 1 out of 4 games. It is every game. Please create your own thread, not hijack mine.
