For example: Infinity Edge allows you to crit for 250% of your attack damage, as opposed to 200%. I thought the carry was the guy that exits the laning phase at a higher level or strength than his teammates, allowing him to "carry" the team through fights until they get stronger as well.

Here are some you can add:

Blink - A method of instantly teleporting to somewhere else. Examples: Flash, Katarina's Shunpo, Ezreal's Arcane Shift.

Stunlocking - The act of shutting down an enemy through repeated stunning. Typically requires several stun-capable champions to use their stuns one after the other.

Crowd Control (CC) - Non-damage effects that are intended to hinder or disable your enemy in some way. CC examples: slow, stun, silence, fear, snare, or being knocked airborne.

Root: Another term for snaring.

DoT - Damage over Time.

DPS - Damage per second. Usually used ingame to refer to champions or item builds that focus on Attack Damage.

Crit - Critical hits. When your basic attack crits, it deals double damage to the target. Your chance of critting starts off low, but it can be improved with runes, items, masteries, or by the champion's skills. Runes and items can also change the crit damage multiplier. For example: Infinity Edge allows you to crit for 250% of your attack damage, as opposed to 200%. Critical hit chance percentages are additive, meaning that two items that separately give you a 30% crit chance combine to give you 60%.

Dodge - Dodging is another percentage-based stat that allows you to negate an enemy's basic attack, resulting in no damage. Dodge chance can be improved by items, masteries, runes, or by the champion's skills. Dodge chance is multiplicative, and as such it is impossible to practically reach 100% dodge chance.

AoE - Area of Effect. AoE attacks do not target one enemy specifically, and can hit multiple enemies in close vicinity.

Global - Capable of being used anywhere on the map. Global range ultimates include Enchanted Crystal Arrow, Cannon Barrage, Requiem, and Grand Skyfall.

Skillshot - An attack that does not home in on the target once cast, requiring the player to aim it. Skillshots include Enchanted Crystal Arrow, Infected Cleaver, Mystic Shot, and Missile Barrage.

Tryhard - A pejorative term for a person or team that deliberately picks high-tier champions for the sake of getting an easy win.

Queue-dodging - The act of closing the PVP.net client during the pre-game countdown where champions are selected. Queue-dodging is done for a number of reasons, and queue-dodgers are penalized by being unable to enter the queue again for an amount of time.

QQ - Complaining, particularly about a certain champion's power or poor teammates. "QQ" looks like a pair of eyes crying.

Lifesteal - A statistic that allows a person to heal themselves for a portion of the damage that they do. Lifesteal typically only applies to basic right-click attacks.

Spell Vamp - A variant of lifesteal that works only when a player does damage with a spell.

Juke - A deceptive move intended to fool chasing enemies, hopefully causing them to lose sight of where you are.

Ace - The act of killing all enemy champions before any of them can respawn.

Turret/Tower - The main objective of pushing a lane. Towers fire high-damage projectiles at anyone in range, and will prioritize enemies currently attacking a friendly champion.

Inhibitor - Each lane has an inhibitor. After pushing into the enemy's base, destroy these to allow Super Minions to spawn in that particular lane. Super Minions have much higher HP and damage. Inhibitors will respawn a few minutes after being destroyed.

Nexus - Defend yours, and destroy theirs. Destroying a team's nexus results in victory for the team that destroyed it.

Fountain - The respawn area for champions, located at the very back of the base. Standing in the fountain rapidly restores your health and mana. The item shop is located here as well. Enemies that enter the fountain will be attacked by an incredibly powerful fountain turret.

Minions - Also called creeps, minions are the mindless non-player monsters that run down the lanes in waves, spawned by the Nexus. Killing minions gives you gold and experience points, and farming minions is a crucial part of getting stronger at the start of the game. There are three kinds of minions: Melee minions, mage minions (back-row creeps), and siege minions that operate a cannon. Siege minions take 50% less damage from turret fire.

Oracle's - The Oracle's Elixir, which allows players to see all stealthed enemies within a certain range once consumed. The elixir lasts until the player's death, at which point they must buy a new one.

Wards - Wards are items you can place on the map that will remove the fog of war around them, allowing you to see enemies near them. Wards become invisible once placed, and require stealth detection to find and destroy. There are two kinds of wards. Sight wards simply give you vision on an area, while vision wards additionally allow you to see stealthed enemies.

Raging - The act of getting overly angry about the game for any reason.

"u mad" - A sarcastic response to someone who is raging.

Runes

Quints - Quintessence Runes

Reds - Mark Runes

Yellows - Seal Runes

Blues - Glyph Runes
