Hey! I can't log on with my lap top at the school I go to (BYU for those who may have had the same experience and found a solution). I'm able to get on at home with this computer. I'm guessing it's the university's established firewalls (which I can't do much about) but I thought I'd ask for any insights anyway.

all you can do is ask for ports to be allowed so you can play specifically you need

Allowed Inbound and Outbound
80 TCP
443 TCP
2099 TCP - PvP.net
5223 TCP - PvP.net
5000 - 5050 UDP - LoL Game Client

I don't know any legal solutions, but sometimes when I'm having computer trouble I look to Genesis, chapter 4 for advice.

lol coleman.

There are solutions that are available but its questionable whether or not BYU policy allows for it without you breaking the usage policy.

You would need to ask if you allowed to create VPN tunnels to external locations. If they allow that it opens up a way for you to bypass the firewall with a little know-how

Otherwise you would be better off asking to have the above mentioned ports opened.
