What is it that Malzahar can do that lets him win his lane?

Who counter's him, Who does he counter well and how?

Also any idea what the best way is to fight against Morgana if your using Malzahar?

You cannot stop him from farming, because of his malefic visions. At the same time, visions being on a minion creates a mild zoning effect, as you don't want it to jump to you (since it really hurts, and his voidlings will go for you which also hurt).

At level 6 he is capable of taking anybody out with his combo. He also has semi-infinite mana, again thanks to visions.

He doesn't really have any hard counters, but he may be burst down first by some champs if they catch him off guard. The best way to fight him is simply to put a strong farmer in mid that ignores him until the jungler comes past. He is a hard counter to Vladmir, and other such high health champs (unless of course, they stack magic resist)

One thing worth noting is that QSS does negate the CC on his ult, and this leaves him VERY vulnerable in a 1v1 situation late game.

For malz fighting a morg? Just farm away and don't get hit by a binding. Don't even bother trying to kill her unless you can bait her to black shield, as it'll stop your ultimate.

IMO he can farm very easily without too much risk. Also, because he regains mana while farming, he doesn't run out of mana too easily (unless you go ape **** with your spells ofc). Plus, when you hit level 6, and if you play your cards right, you should be able to get a kill. Similar to annie lol.

Not sure about counters and idk about Morgana

Malz is great at mid because even if he doesn't have lane control, he can hit a minion with his visions and continue to farm at a halfway decent rate. I would say below level 6, only really aggressive ranged ad carries are able to make malz be defensive, as you have to back off first unless you have your voidling hitting them. But even then, visions will sometimes pass to them and you can continue to harass.

He auto pushes his lane making him an easy gank for your jungler.

a good brand (actually hits all his skillshots) does the trick. the nuking capability and the over time damage from his passive puts malzahar in an extremely bad position. just gotta watch that ult at lvl 6 and should be set.

im not too sure about the fact that a brand can counter or beat a malz in lane, you move when you see the circle for his pillar ont he ground and he needs to get close to hit his e, malz will silence you if within range and if your dumb enough to flash towards him to get a combo its an easy e,w,r combo to kill you. so i dont think a brand can counter a malz as easy as it sounds
