Over time Riot has been reworking support characters. Remember when Soraka was pure support? Now she's often found in solo mid. At this point the only real supports left are Janna and Sona and maybe Taric. Some, like Morgana and Lux, are more AP carry than support and some, like Zilean and Karma, are basically hybrids.
So the question is are supports slowly being worked out of the game? And if they are is this good or bad?
