why even build warmogs? In dominion you might barely get the thing half charged. going frozen mallet, entropy, or even rylais is a better option.

Assists charge it; you need 10 assists or kills for full Mogs. You'd have to try to not have it fully charged in a couple of mins.

The slow part on Frozen Mallet is situational, especially if you equip it on melee champions. Mostly these two items are used for tanky dps, since if dps champs (range dps, yi, trynd, sion...) buy it, they won't do much necessary damage at early to mid game (assuming both side are balance). For tanky dps, how often do you see people auto attack (except a few like Olaf)?

It's really annoying if 3 or more people on the other team get atmogs.
Despite all the parrotting of high end play dismissals of atmogs going on in this thread, Rickert is correct. A team with a couple or more people stacking atmogs is instantly obnoxious to deal with. It essentially converts tanky dps into tanks who didn't have to sacrifice attack damage for it. Whatever they lose in AD by not going pure AD items is more than made up for by the fact that it will require 2v1 focus or more to kill them, or for the enemy team to have Vayne or (as a distant second) Kog'maw to deal with them, especially if stacked on multiple people.

This game has insufficient counters to healthstacking, just a few champions do it with abilities, not all of which can be spammed, and the items which counter healthstack are incredibly poor at their job due to the fact that they're magical attacks on items that usually only AD damage dealers are going to use.

DFG and Bloodrazor offer an AD and AP alternative; of course, BR is kinda weak in this mode and DFG is only burst and subject to MR which can be a problem. Still, one decent alternative is getting tanky yourself; they are giving up damage and item slots so they'll have more trouble fitting all the defenses and the penetrations they need than you will. Against Atmog's users, one-two Armor items work miracles on any sustained damage dealer.

How do you max out your 'Mogs without hurting your chances of winning the game? That's a lot of fighting and farming and not so much capping.
