Of all the Mordekaiser nerfs, this one has to be the worst, not because it was the biggest - being triple-nerfed (damage, healback, bonus gen) - but because it was made useless. As it stands now, it is completely pointless to take this, except to drain your health.

Therefore, as someone who would like to play Mordekaiser again, I'd like to ask that we can either get back the bonus shield generation - at least for champions hit (e.g. 11/12/13/14/15 per champion hit) - or that we can get a useful replacement. (Note: there's only 5 champions to hit, and if they have brains they won't minionize, so you'll never hit all 5 of them).

Furthermore, since Mordekaiser's sustain has been nerfed more than any champion ever (-50%), can we at least remove the health costs from his abilities, or at least reduce them to the point where it's actually viable to use his abilities?

Mace of Spades - Good opponents know to stand near minions for this one, so, for 20 health, he deals 80 damage to a champion, healing for .3 x 80 = 24, and he hits 1 minion for 80 damage, but only heals .15 x 80 = 12 for that one - so he gains 36 temp hp for a cost of 20 hp. At best he can get 60 temp hp, losing about 2 per second, plus any damage dealt to him (most auto-attacks are in the 50+ range) - so it's worse than a wash if he's counter-harrassed. What's sad is that if the target is alone, he only gains .3 x 130 = 39 shield, which means he should never hit a lone champion, so he spends 20 hp, to take 10+ real damage from them, or just wastes 20 hp.

Creeping Death - Half-witted opponents know to stand out of it, so you're only ever hitting minions. It costs him 26 health to cast, and for that he gets .15 x 20 damage per minion per sec (max 6 if he's 'lucky') = .15 x 120 = 18, 15, 12, 9 - by now the minions are dead - grand total temp hp: 54. More likely this will be ~30-40; minus an auto-attack = -41 hp for the spell. Smart opponents hit him at the beginning of this spell, so he'll be out -56 hp or more agains intelligent opponents, with ending temp hp ~20. If he combo's with MoS, he's -46 hp for ~30 temp hp gain, assuming auto-attack harrass, and not ability-based harrass (e.g. Peacemaker). That's just not right.

Siphon of Destruction - Half-witted opponents know to stand away from creeps - so you're only ever hitting minions. Cost: 24 hp. Max shield gen: .15 x 65 x 6 = 58.5. Not bad, assuming you hit all 6 minions (none die before it lands & all are in range) and don't get auto-attacked. More likely you'll hit 3-5 minions for an average of 4 x 65 x .15 = 39 temp hp, which means he's out -35 hp or more for using this spell if harassed. Comboing with either of the above nets a -44 or -50 hp, leaving him with maybe 40 or maybe 30 shield gain.

Children of the Grave - Good opponents know that QSS will shut it down and it didn't change so, same issues, still decent ... but if you want to let it target minions and epic monsters, pet Dragons are always nice.

Note: Good opponents will harrass you before you cast any spells, which means you're looking at up to -100 hp cost for using your abilities, for worthless shield gain; more if it's an ability based harrassment (e.g. Nid spear, Cait Q, Xin charge, Tryn auto-attack [and Tryn is weak], etc.). Also, Regrowth Pendant only gives hp/5 = 15, giving mord a total of ~ hp/5 = 25 at low levels (where this is important), so I guess that's fine, as long as nobody ever attacks or harrasses Mord.

TL;DR: The Mord nerfs mean it now costs Mord more to use his abilities than not; in particular, Siphon of Destruction has been nerfed to oblivion.

Please eliminate the health costs (or cut them by at least the same 50% that his sustain was nerfed by) on his abilities - OR - return his shield gen to at least 80% gain on minions (like everybody else; this one is preferable) - OR - massively boost his damage; AND please return the bonus shield gen to Siphon of Destruction, at least for champions (but make it stronger if this limit is imposed since there's only 5 champions), or replace it with something useful.

It is unfair to give a champion a skill set that forces him to push and over extend, while simultaneously leaving him with no escape, no durability, no sustainability, no damage, and nothing else that could possibly compensate for a naturally vulnerable positioning.
