Naah, playing Dawn of War II and there isn't such thing as too many CPs. =P In fact, the time your enemy'll be wasting uncapturing and reverting it (not to mention the fact that they WILL have to do it ASAP least they want to give your team a huge ticket difference) pays for it. =)

Yea but I think it's more effective to go capture open points than try to defend held ones, because if you lose then the point is gone and you lose the 3-2 advantage. If you are in a constant cycle of capping/losing points you will win as long as you have 3 most of the time.

The problem with that strat is that it relies on you staying ahead in the cap race. If one side has speedier champions, they're probably going to win. Hence all the "Rammus is OP!" threads.

If both sides have roughly similar speed champs, it can come down to whichever side gets a bit luckier. It can be pretty random.

You're better off doing a minion push than simply defending doing nothing. It's pretty safe and can be very effective.
