Wow guys...way to not read past the first sentence. All you do is click Introduction and you can read the entire thing free. Buying it is if you wanted a PHYSICAL COPY (i.e. a book).

It is a good read, originally written for Street Fighter II I believe, but attempts to be game-independent.

The book's advice is something you should take to heart... assuming you make your living playing video games competitively.

Otherwise it takes a game, something that by definition is played for entertainment purposes, and gives us NO ITEMS FOX ONLY FINAL DESTINATION

It's not an excuse to play like a ******ed monkey, though.

You don't need to be making a living off playing games in order to benefit from reading the work.

There's a good chance that anyone wanting to learn how to improve their game can learn something useful.

Playing to win and playing for fun don't have to be separate things after all.
