I think Cassiopeia is partly based off of Medusa, since her ult is a stare that turns people to stone.
Aviator Irelia is a nod to Amelia Earhart (First female to fly solo across the Atlantic) apparently, from LoL wiki. (LoL wiki has a load of champion references, I'm not sure if they're all correct though :/)

We can make a couple if we compare Vladimir to Alucard.

Talon is obviously Ezio from Assassin's Creed!

Yes, Alucard. Not the character the anime is based on. Alucard

Lee Sin is based on the monk who lit himself ablaze in the real life protests of the government persecuting Buddhist Monks by their Government.

Swain is several things. He is not only A Lord of Change, he could be compared to Tzeentch himself. Also, his bilgewater skin makes him very similar to Long John Silver.

Ahri I think is a rip-off of Fox, from Batman: The Brave and Bold.

But in connection to real life, Howard Thurston = Twisted Fate. No doubt.
Jax, I would say could be Flamma, the Roman Gladiator. He won 27 / 32 fights, I believe, with a wooden sword. Nobody knows much about him, and he was awarded his freedom several times, but kept fighting.

Ahri is from east Asian mythology.
