I've had this idea in my head for a while.. But I've been too lazy to post it on the forums. So here I go.

Each champion gets a patch with 6 slots on it that they put on their armor.
Each item takes up one slot on the patch. These patches make you more powerful

You can check people's items by clicking on them.

Are you asking for champions to have their items' icons be on their chest on their in-game mordel?

The champions don't hold the items, the summoners do. Each item is a recreation of a magical artifact in the League's vault that the summoners use to empower their chosen champion.

I think I fail to see the point here.

Think he means:

You buy a BF sword, it'll be hanging on you back.
You buy a Veil, you'd have it hanging round your neck.
You buy a negatron cape, you got an ugly cape.
You buy a deathcap.... you got a pointy wizard hat on your head...

No. I think he is trying to say, instead of a character just magically holding these items, they have patches on their torso representing the items they bought at the store (and the power they hold).

IMO a waste of time to make something insignificant like this, but a good idea nonetheless.
