Considering that conquering the towers are not a must, would the game end at all ?

You can damage the nexus health without capturing towers down to 100 health. From there I think towers are required.

So, if you wanted, you could have a game that lasts forever.

I was under the impression the nexus is always taking damage and it was really a race to who would lose first. Capturing towers only spead up the loss rate of the enemy tower

Nope, you are only damaging the enemy nexus if you hold the majority of the towers.

yeah that is true then i guess

the idea of "all random all middle" (swap middle for windmill or keep it at middle) could be for hours and hours of fun then until someone decides to end it and take a tower

Actually, if I read all the info correctly, you can harm the enemy's Nexus 1 point by killing opposing champs, disrupting a turret, etc.

There's a number of actions you could take that might harm the enemy Nexus.
The one I want to circle is "kill enemy champ"

A game might go on forever if both teams stayed on their platforms though . . .
maybe...

Killing champions will only reduce Nexus health up to the 100 point threshold--after that, kills won't work anymore.

So I suppose you could have an infinite game if no one ever captured a point. But I don't really see that happening.

Well, you can capture points and then decide to just leave them all neutral later.

Yes, you can have an infinite game very easily in Dominion.

Okay, now I want to see Nasus and Renekton, both with their ultimates active and having the Storm Shield, go head to head.
