Dear Wrenchmen,

After the recent patch, I am experiencing some trouble connecting to the game. I can log in and select my champion, but after the count down is complete and waiting for the load screen with the "League of Legends" logo is shown, and after a bit, it warns me of error, cannot connect to the server, check your firewall setting and then retry. After many tries with the firewall setting including turning it off as well as terminating kaspersky it still did not fix my problem. I've read many posts on the forum, and found many similar post with no solution. http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/...d.php?t=110848 (I believe this summoner is having the same problem as I am). The attachment shows the exact text of what the error box says. When I close the client and relogged in, it showed me that I am still in a game, so I tried to reconnect but with no success.

I even changed my DNS setting to manual as well as using "cmd" and flushed my DNS memory, it was suggested by MatricusWrench, http://euw.leagueoflegends.com/board...ad.php?t=10927. Please help me with this issue, I am quite frustrated with it as I have just purchased some new champions with riot points, and now gathered 5 leaves even though I did not wish for it.Thanks for your time, and sorry for your trouble.

With Regards,

I truly hope that someone from Riot Gaming and/or LoL community can help me as I am crying my eyes out staring at the screen hoping for a reply that might shed hope to my agony.

Canoodle,

Sometimes patches can knockabout firewall settings that were previously in place. Also, if you've recently changed your local IP address, that can damage any previous port forwarding for your router/modem firewall.

Try running through this thread, http://support.leagueoflegends.com/e...gue-of-legends to make sure you have access to the game servers.

Hi Aregionius,

Thank you so much for replying me so fast, I ran through the link you posted and did some modification to the port forward in my router accordingly, and ran a test using Firebind, however even though I got successful result from Firebind, I still have the same issue with "connecting to game", would you please look at the attached screenshots and help me with this issue?

Thanks,
Canoodle

I just went through some post about firewall setting and exclusion etc. http://support.leagueoflegends.com/e...gue-of-legends and redone the settings accordingly, with no success, the game still can not be connected.

I've also obtained a Networkinfo.Log as one of the Tech Support page suggested that it will help with the trouble shooting process. Please refer to the attachement, http://support.leagueoflegends.com/e...etworkinfo-log. However due to the fact that I am running a Chinese version of Windows 7, the log itself is in Chinese (sorry). Don't know if this will help. Once again thanks for your help.
