So, it all starts out with me opening the news screen, and pressing play. So far so good. I enter my user name and password, it says loading. Ok, not bad. Now, it keeps loading, for another 5-10 seconds, where as it used to take less than 2. A cancel button comes up underneath the loading type. Another few seconds and the death message comes up - Connection Error Connection Failure: Unable to connect to the PVP.net server. Only thing i can do now is press ok. And then the entire client just exits. Great. I have attempted to turn my firewall off, open my ports, and reinstall the game. Nothing has worked (hence me posting this). Not sure what else I can do. Last time i played the game was when the patch came out around May 10th I think it was with all the new heroes, and I was playing a game when the heroes changed, then played another with the new heroes without logging out or anything. The next day, after downloading the patch, the error message came up. Not really understanding what the problem is, could really appreciate some help.

PS. My friend attempted to log onto his account on my computer, and the same error message came up. Even if I put in asd as a user and asd as a pass (these are not my user and pass, just random ones for explanation) the same message comes up, and I do not get a message or anything saying wrong user and password combonation.

i seem to be having the same problem, but with mine after downloading the new patch that recently came out it says : '' league of legends could not connect to maestro, the application will now close.Tryrestarting the application.

Not sure what maestro is, but that sucks man. It's wierd how there's like more than one message for like the same problem (depending on what maestro means). I'm hopin atleast if no one comments on this to help out that next patch it fixes itself... :/

That BS since last patch most people having problem.. I reinstall my window download new LOL setup and install the game and its only got me to retrieve data from server during log in.. That's suck if this thing keep happening .. Guys my advise is nothing they instruct seem to work so dont need to try anything wait till they fix..

This message usually appears due to a connectivity issue, latency in the network from the user to Riot servers. Run this test and post the results url, that way I can see your connection.

I was playing fine earlier today and suddenly this happened so its definitely not my connection. I've tried lots of things but still can't connect and have the same error msg.
