I understand why they stopped working on the mac since of the dominion and such. and since it is a F2p game there income is not as high a they would like it. But is it that hard to let us know you have given up on us? if you let us know I am PRETTY sure there are some mac users out here who are computer geniuses who wouldn't mind taking what mac progress they have done and improving it. And i mean if the mac users don't do it for free at least give the mac users some type of payment. like let them help make the next champion devoted to them or something. I probably sound stupid but Riot just needs to make up its mind. I do not get why it starts all these projects and just gives up on them. like mac client and from what I can read they gave up on shiny too. Make a decision and stick with it. If you want LOL to still be around when D3 and DOTA2 come out. you better start helping us help you.

Riot is probably making more money as F2P than they would via payed or subscription. THe F2P model is atually more profitable and has been proven by APB, LotRO, and Wizards 101 (i think that the name). I saw a whole presentation on it at Pax east.

LotRO tripled it's player base and quadrupled their income.

Microtransactions ftw

Yeah almost all MMO's that are "free" survive on microtransactions to essentially make them more profitable than most pay to play games.
