and after all these a few minutes ago it told me that there is an unusual large amount of user trying to connect and I have to wait 5sec, after 30sec later UNABLE TO CONNECT TO pvp.net server. THIS IS SO NICE....it takes me ages to connect and after I connect it takes 5mins for them to disconnect me... VERY NICE!

for the last few days I have been facing this problem and I can't login, I've done the w32 time sync and added LoL to my firewall exception.

P.S. I have logged in a couple of times randomly. But cannot relog after I logged out.

Hello Turag,

I am very sorry to hear about this issue. I know you may have tried some of these suggestions already but I would like you to try again so we can rule out some known issues. Most often, these connection issues are caused by overzealous firewalls or anti-virus programs. Even if you have no active firewalls that you know of, many firewalls are installed automatically with Windows, so you may have as many as 3 and not even know it. Additionally, many Firewalls have processes that run in the background after disabling them, which still cause significant interference with our game.

We have a detailed guide to configuring your Firewalls to work properly with League of Legends:

However, even when properly configured, the disabled modes or exceptions lists often do not function properly for 3rd party firewalls. It would be much quicker to temporarily uninstall your firewalls from your computer. This would allow me to quickly rule them out as a potential cause of the problem so I can get you back into the game faster.

If you're uncomfortable uninstalling your anti-virus and firewalls, I recommend replacing your current software with Avast, which is free for home use. It even has a disabled/gaming mode for getting the most out of your system while playing League of Legends.

If the problem persists or you need further help with my instructions, please don't hesitate to contact me. When you do, providing this information to me will allow me to help get you back into the Fields of Justice as quickly as possible. (Make sure to provide this information even if you have already done so. We need to get information that is as up to date as possible):

1) A Process List: http://support.leagueoflegends.com/e...a-process-list

2) Network Analysis: http://support.leagueoflegends.com/e...twork-analysis

3) NetworkInfo Log: http://support.leagueoflegends.com/e...etworkinfo-log

It is important for us to receive this information so we can properly diagnose this issue.

The problem is still there, it occurs randomly, sometimes I can connect and sometimes I cannot, I get the Unable to connect to pvp.net server message. (most of the time I get the connection failure message)

I do not have any 3rd party firewalls so that is crossed, added all the mentioned files to exception list of windows firewall, and I do not have any routers so I guess thats upto my ISP

http://netalyzr.icsi.berkeley.edu/ this link didn't worked for me ....or maybe I couldn't find the start analysis button *shameful face*
I have attached the networkingo.log and process list. Can you please sort it out.

Hello Turag,

It would be very helpful if you could get the Network Analysis to work. You may need to uninstall and reinstall the latest version of Java. Please let me know if you can run it.

Are you using a wireless internet connection? If you are you may want to try connecting directly to your modem or router via Ethernet cable as this is a more stable connection.

Greetings Turag,

I'm very sorry to hear that you are unable to login. This may be an issue relating to your computer's ability to accept the security certificates from our login server. Our Client relies on Internet Explorer for a great deal of information, regardless of your default Browser, so be sure to make all suggested changes in Internet Explorer. The following should help resolve this issue:

1) Make sure your windows clock is synced:
https://support.leagueoflegends.com/...-windows-clock

2) Make sure your Internet Explorer Options are properly configured (Updating to IE9 and running the Microsoft fixit file are the most common fixes from that guide):
http://support.leagueoflegends.com/e...roubleshooting

3) Turn off Certificates in IE, IE Options > Advanced > Restore Advanced Settings, IE Options > Advanced > Uncheck "Check for server certificate authentication"
If you have a more updated version of Internet Explorer you may have to uncheck these settings instead:
"Check for server certificate revocation"
"Check for publisher's certificate revocation"
"Warn about certificate address mismatch"

4) Disable Peer to Peer transfers from the Gear menu in the top right corner of the Patcher

5) Uninstall Pando Media Booster

6) Verify that Internet Explorer is not set to Offline Mode (You can check this through the File menu in IE)

If your issue still persists after all these steps, another process may be interfering with the smooth operation of League of Legends. Can you please take the time to provide me with a list of your running processes? We have a detailed guide explaining the process here:

Hello Turag,

I was wondering if you could get me a screenshot of your current issue. This is just to help me get to the root of the problem faster, so you can get back in the game sooner. It would help a lot if you could try describing in detail what you were doing before the issue occurred and send a screenshot of the issue you encounter. You can obtain a screenshot out-of-game through the following steps:

- Press Print Screen
- Open MS Paint
- Paste the screenshot onto MS Paint
- Save it as a .jpg or .png file.

While in-game, however, you simply just need to:
- Press F12
- Locate the screenshot inside C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Screenshots

Thanks for understanding, and I look forward to solving this problem for you.

thanks for the forewarning and fixes for potential problems.

I was particularly fond of the part where none of it helps.

No. Really.
Great job, I love getting kicked in the middle of my games and never being able to reconnect.
Oh, and the part where I went through all of the steps to your "solutions"? That. Was. Hil-ar-i-ous.
I laughed so hard when I thought to myself: "oh, well these are fixes from RIOT, surely they'll work!"
Nothing quite as funny as lying to yourself.

Did the sarcasm come through? I know it's rather hard to pull of on the internet.

Seriously RIOT, normally I support you against all the people that whine about your service, BUT THIS IS REDICULOUS.

With love,
KingXaltric
P.S. fix this ****.

Well as of the proactive "fix" I have had nothing but issues.

Official Error

"Connection Failure: Unable to connect to the PVP.net server.
Information regarding what may have caused this error can be found here.
Service availability can be viewed on the League of Legends Server Status web page."

What Happens. I put in the username/password and it takes me to the retrieving data from server box, Which says loading, then the cancel button opens up and it finishes up with the before mentioned error.

Forced it to patch by deleting specific folders which it then patched with 0 Issues
Re-synced with all 5 options for time sync using windows 7 (both through the clock feature and doing the dos prompt commands listed on the first post )

Turned off windows firewall/anti-virus/spybot/anti-malware/Windows defender etc etc (even removed them from start up and rebooted)

Did every possible windows update including the optional stuff.

Cleaned registry just in case, Turned off P2P option in the gear menu in the top right corner, and disabled my IPv6. Any other ideas on how to fix this issue?

It worked fine yesterday morning but as of midnight (Central standard time USA) I have had that error all night. 13 hours later I still have the same problem no response from support as of yet =/

Anyone else have any ideas?

i have re downloaded and re installed the game almost 8 times now. it started out with just showing the LoL pic in the middle of the screen then doing nothing, to now not even having the game launcher install. i know of at least 30 other people here in saskatoon having the same issue as me, and they all have better laptops and computers than i do. any ideas?

I updated Flash player today, and suddenly starting getting this error. I don't think this is something from the player's end but rather a crossed wire from the adobe AIR update.

EDIT: Restarting modem seems to have done the trick.
