Hey guys,

Greater Glyph of Shielding: Flat 1.49 (per rune, total: 13 MR with 9) Magic Resist
vs.
Greater Glyph of Warding: Scaling 0.15 to 2.7 @ 18 (per rune, total: 24 MR @ 18 with 9) Magic Resist

I'm wondering what of the two you think are better and your reasoning behind it.

Per level better for junglers and late game.
And flat for early game.
I prefer per level tbh.

Per level imo, but you won't regret getting 3 flat and 6 per level if you tend to lane against magic damage such as morde, akali, generic AP casters, etc.

Shielding, per level is better

I get flat armour though, mainly for jungling but I like it for early game laning too

Well, since the MR/level surpasses the flat MR at level 10, it could go either way. On tanks/tanky dps I go for the /level whereas on squishies I go for the flat MR to help them through the early game. The /level runes allow you to have much more freedom and balance in your tankiness for those types of characters.

warding are the flats
shielding is per lvl..
i prefer shielding because base mr for champs is 30...and base armor is like 10-20

I prefer per level because mr is much more difficult to stack than armor, as there are less items that give it and also in lesser values, the highest mr from a single item in Force of Nature, at 74 mr and a cost of 2600ish, it's far less a counter to AP compared to the AD equivalent, Thornmail, at 100 armor and a cost of 2000 armor is really much easier to get.
