Not sure if this has been answered but will there ever be an opening for an Australian team?

I wanted to clarify the registration process for the IntelEM Global Challenge for China. Registration is restricted to teams that are Premium ESL members (i.e. there's a subscription fee).

The logic behind this from the admins at the ESL is that since there is not a travel stipend for the tournament, they want to avoid confusion and encourage participation from people who would not be able to afford the trip. Additionally, the purpose of this tournament is to qualify for the event in China, so if a team can't reasonably go "the whole nine yards," it doesn't make sense for them to begin the process and complicate the tournament system. If there are teams that want to participate in a free tournament there are plenty of opportunities.

I hope that answers any questions if there were any.
