God... ignorant people like you are what ruin symbols and their realistic meanings. Until WWII the iron cross actually symbolized bravery in battle and was awarded to only the best in the military for Prussia and eventually Germany. It was not until WWII (AFTER RED BARON DURING WWI) that the iron cross came to symbolize some anti-semetism and anti-semetic values. The Red Baron was shot down in 1918 if im not mistaken which just so happens to be before WWII. Granted anti-semetism was around and had been for a LONG time but he was given it for his bravery and skill as a pilot.

I've got to agree with Reshoku, the Red Baron was completely unrelated to WWII and Nazi Germany. During his time, WWI, Germany was ruled by the Kaiser, and Hitler was a mere lance corporal (equivalent to PFC).

Because the Nazi party wasn't even founded until two years after that, in 1919.

Take a history class, you ignorant *****.

And the Iron Cross was a Prussian military decoration. Again, not Nazi materia.

Edit: Whoops, didn't realize page 2.

Thank you riot. Form of Iron Cross used on German military aircraft in 1915 belongs to red baron not Hitler people.

So that's why nobody wants to hang out with me, I just thought it was because they were nazis.

Actually, a lance corporal is essentially the equivalent of an Army corporal. They just share rank insignia with PFC. PFC's have no command authority, whereas a lance corporal is by regulation, capable of section command.

I heard the Red Baron traveled time as a Nazi mercenary. Is this true? Can anyone confirm?
