As much as I'd like to support LoL as a game developed by an independent team, I am 100% disinterested in playing a game that has strong, close reliance on a bloated Adobe application. I'm thankful to have been invited into the LoL closed beta, but I'm going to have to decline completing the installation.

Good luck with the endeavor. Maybe I'll give it a try some day if the Adobe dependency goes away.

Do you have .net framework installed? How about flash player? Directx? Do you even know what adobe air is?

are you seriously turning down a game invite to a fantastic unreleased game for the sake of not installing a 10-20 megabyte software that does nothing but increase your computers compatibility with programs and software much like Java or flashplayer?

I respectfully say, You sir are an idiot.

As an AIR developer myself I understand where you're coming from. AIR as a platform is not fully mature and requires very careful attention to garbage collection.

As long as the client is carefully constructed, it's not a problem.
