[Apologize if my Engrish and Grammar is terrible]

I've been playing Orianna since she was first release. I always get a lot of slack for picking her or people saying she is just terrible. I disagree. I tried many builds even the AS/AP it just didn't work for me, so I put together my own build.

[ Skills]

Orianna, the Lady of Clockwork

  • Clockwork Windup (Passive): Orianna¬ís autoattacks deal additional magic damage every hit, subsequent attacks on the same target within a few seconds will add more damage per hit. This bonus stacks up to three times.
  • Attack: Orianna commands her ball to fly towards target location, dealing damage to targets hit but doing reduced damage for each additional target hit. Her ball remains behind at that location afterwards.
  • Dissonance: Orianna commands her ball to emit a magnetic pulse, dealing damage to units around it. Afterwards, the ball leaves a field behind for a few seconds that speeds up allies and slows enemies.
  • Protect
    • (Passive): The allied champion the ball is attached to gains bonus Armor and Magic Resistance.
    • (Active): Orianna commands her ball to fly to and attach onto an allied champion, dealing damage to enemies it passes through and shielding the allied champion when it arrives.
  • Shockwave: Orianna commands her ball to emit a shockwave after a short delay, flinging affected enemies in the vicinity into the air a set distance towards, and possibly over, her ball.

[ Playing Style ]

A lot of people I notice while playing Orianna burns their mana very quickly, bursting damage for a quick kill even with Clarity it still not enough. Using Attack + Dissonance in the early levels that is a no, no. Just using Attack and harass with the ball, you save a lot of mana and when you opponent is roughly down to 30% health Attack + Dissonance + Attack and auto attack them to death. Once you Dissonance it slows them down, your auto attacking for as much damage as possible and waiting for Q to cool down and with a quick swoop of the ball, landing the kill blow. Always works like a charm =) This is great for middle lane.

When your laning with a teammate i usually go for assist kills, if possible a direct kill. Again harass with Attack. Only use Dissonance + Attack if you are sure there is a kill. If you have an aggressive teammate use Protect on your team mate it will provide minimal armour and magic resist and dmg abosrb, when he approaches the opponent use Dissonance that is like a mini Exhaust (http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Exhaust), then push the ball forward with Attack damaging the opponent, and Dissonance again if possible, remember your auto attack the target as well.

When in group play, I use Protect on the tank, usually runs in and I Dissonance they will start to run away so use Shockwave and Attack then Dissonance again. Don't get lost in combat Protect your dying carriers, it also does damage to whoever that is in the balls path. Always stay at a distance behind the group, don't get right in and get focussed fired.

Shockwave is a pretty useful skill, you either pull you enemies closer or pull them away. For instant, pulling a champion away of a dying teammate. Your running back with a teammate and a champion is catching up, your team mate has 10% hp an easy kill right? Nope, Use Attack send the ball in front of the path on the on coming Champion Dissonance, but then the champion uses Ghost, so quickly follow up with a Shockwave it gives 1 sec stun and pulling him away because he step pass the ball.
