Didn't TSM lose to GAMED.DE?

And then CLG won against them....
Hmm?

TSM won both GAME and CLG. only lost to Xan because they didn't expect how the morde comp would play out. If you saw later CLG and GAME both banned Morde after they saw the Xan match.

Well said, it is the first time that any of the NA teams have met Xan so they were unsure what to expect, unfortunatley for TSM they got the unlucky first game against them, this allowed CLG to be prepared for what Xan would use so they could ban and counter-pick in preparation for them.

However Xan are a new team on the world stage and they did perform rather well and showed themselves to be great sports, they could be one to watch in season 2.

Afterall it's not the first time in any sporting history that the underdog has pulled an upset and it won't be the last.

As for the Epik bracket, Epik have played most of the teams before with the exception of the korean team who just didnt seem to be up to scratch, remember TSM came through there qualifier and were seeded #1, they may have dropped an underdog game but this still has a psychological impact if and when TSM and Epik meet in the coming matches.
