Okay. One of the best champs on TT and I keep getting stomped by squishies.

Can you guys help me out with the best best build you can think of? Obviously must be cheap and fast.

I'm thinking Visage -> Stark's -> brutalizer -> phage -> sheen

boots situational

Yes, i understand my build is Fing weird, BUT every time i use armor stacking or mag resist stacking i just get wtfpwned anyways, so I'm thinking more lifesteal and more damage and more CD reduction (brutalizer) should get me more shield time and less health loss. Q scales with damage soooo more dmg plox.

help me out though, thanks

Build to your opponent.

First item:
Heavy Phys team - Warden's
Heavy Magic team - Spirit Visage
Mix - Aegis

Second Item:
Get the boots to either boost your main resist if they are heavy one way, or get it in the off resist to get that up a bit.

Third Item:
Thornmail if heavy phsyical.
Phage->Mallet if I've got enough tankiness
Negatron if I need more magic resist (upgradable to FoN if I need it later)

Fourth item:
Maybe starks, maybe attack damage, maybe CDR. usually depends on how the game is going

Your response made me realize that my teams just suck. By the time I've farmed enough to get a proper amount of armor my teams typically have fed so much that the other team has enough DPS to make my armor pretty much negligible. QQ

I always open with Dorans Shield and build straight to a Spirit Visage afterwards, the CDR and increased healing (works for your ult) are too strong to not get. After that I will take sorc boots and/or phage followed by Rylais. The Rylai's // Phage combo will give you all of the control that you need. Lastly pick up an atmas and either a Guardian Angel or upgrade the phage into a frozen mallet.

Edit: Make sure to have at least magic pen reds.

I have never lost a game as Mort on TT.

Normally i go

1. Force of Nature
2. Boots of ( Whatever)
3. Frozen Mallet or Scepter

Take the solo lane and clear creeps back to their tower.
Then go kill the easy neutrals in the middle area.
Go back and clear your lane again.
Kill the lizard and then help gank the bottom.

That's what I do every game, and it seems to work.

Well.... I wont criticize your build, but I'm just curious, have you played ALL of your TT games against bots?

If not, then I can't comprehend how your 4 sentence strategy could possibly work without your entire team holding your hand, because TT is NOT a solo-push/jungle-everything map.

I agree with Rancid. Any time someone tries to branch out and be away from the team, they tend to get steamrolled by all 3 enemies (even by their turret if they're not careful)

I didn't feel like writing a huge guide.

It's just a general strategy, and so far it has always worked.

I'm sure there have been times where i switched out the force of nature for wardens or picked up some mercry treads. It goes without saying that you have to change your strategy depending on what is going on.

I just listed a VERY GENERAL idea of my basic build and starting strategy.

Ah, i see what you are saying... I forgot to mention that we always place two ward in the middle jungle, so it tends to be pretty safe and protects the solo laner from ganks.

I'll just stick with "my team sucks" as i dont tend to have lower than a 1:1 KD, yet lose every single game.
