I looked at the issue where names with odd characters show up as black. Unfortunately there's no way to tell which team there's on, even by looking at the coding.

They simply aren't assigned as an ally, enemy, or the reported person. This is a bug Riot needs to fix. If a red wants an example, this is from case #19667, game #1 (names edited out)

Code:
<div><span class="chat_user ">----</span> <span class="chat_timestamp">[21:33:21]</span>: <span class="chat_entry">lol</span></div>
<div><span class="chat_user reported">B----</span> <span class="chat_timestamp">[21:33:22]</span>: <span class="chat_entry">wut stop feedien her</span></div>
<div><span class="chat_user enemy">O----</span> <span class="chat_timestamp">[21:33:22]</span>: <span class="chat_entry">vlad and garen bot</span></div>
<div><span class="chat_user allied">N----</span> <span class="chat_timestamp">[21:33:26]</span>: <span class="chat_entry">ok</span></div>

Updated the scripts so you can easily change enemy colors to something other than black, if you wish.

You'd think a growing company like Riot would have learned from the outcry about no colorblind mode in-game, and actually implemented proper colors in a new system like the Tribunal.

At the risk of coming off as just plain negative, this is really disappointing.

...It came up once before in the PvP.net forum... Haven't looked into the Game HUD or General, yet... would be quite thrilled if someone else did. ^_^

Using colors that don't match the in-game colors would be confusing for everyone else.

They obviously care about colorblind people, or this thread wouldn't be stickied.

Wow, y'know, I've never really took the time to estimate the population of colour blind LoL players, but this is the second time a major thread, so to speak, has popped up relating to said topic.

Ya learn somethin' new everyday and kudos to you to helping out this seemingly large population of summoners.

10% of males are colorblind.

A poll on the EU board showed 12% polled said they were colorblind.

I'd estimate that a vast majority of the players are males. I really don't know for sure, it just seems to be the trend in most games. So it should be near 10% of the players are colorblind.

It's hard to talk about colorblind mode in any positive light on these boards. You mention it, and you're instantly flamed. People are sick of hearing about it.

To Install the Bookmarklet

1. In your browser, make a new bookmark, name it anything
2. Copy this text into the address box:
Code:
javascript:(function(){var colorName = "black"; var styleText = ".enemy {color:" + colorName + " !important;}";styleElement = document.createElement("style");styleElement.type = "text/css";if (styleElement.styleSheet) {styleElement.styleSheet.cssText = styleText;} else {styleElement.appendChild(document.createTextNode(styleText)); } document.getElementsByTagName("head")[0].appendChild(styleElement);})();
3. Save the bookmark
4. When you're viewing a tribunal case, click the bookmark. It scans the page for enemy names and changes their color to black.

Greasemonkey Version

Thanks to FrankWest for the original GreaseMonkey script, which I've updated. If you install the GreaseMonkey addon for your web browser and add this User Script, it will change the names automatically.

Code:
// ==UserScript==
// @name           EnemyNamesInBlack
// @namespace      http://
// @include        http://www.leagueoflegends.com/tribunal/case/*
// ==/UserScript==
var colorName = "black";
var styleText = ".enemy {color:" + colorName + " !important;}";
var styleElement = document.createElement("style");
styleElement.type = "text/css";
if (styleElement.styleSheet) {
	styleElement.styleSheet.cssText = styleText;
} else {
	styleElement.appendChild(document.createTextNode(styleText));
}
document.getElementsByTagName("head")[0].appendChild(styleElement);

Tested in Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer

EDIT: Fixed so that you don't have to reclick when viewing a different game.
EDIT2: If you want to change it to something other than black, just edit the bold part of either code. Most common colors should work fine (blue, orange, purple, etc)
Thx Tool !
