What is the alternative? Letting the teams collude is obviously a bad one.
Moving them into CLG's bracket makes it so that if they beat CLG (there is a chance this will happen) EG can throw it in the finals when they meet up with TSM again. Either way theyre probably gonna play each other

1) CLG has legitimately earned the #1 seed in this tournament. Therefore, CLG has earned the rights to the easiest route to the finals. It does not matter whether CLG should be able to beat EG; they have EARNED this placement and bracket. Riot's taking that away is unfair, unjust, and unprofessional.

2) The problem was caused by a SINGLE summoner (Dan Dinh), who has expressed that suspicions caused by his words are false. If Riot is so concerned with this problem, the obvious solution would be to suspend Dan Dinh in EG's match against TSM. This would localize the disruption caused by said player and not affect innocent third parties (CLG). This sollution may give team EG a disadvantage, but the current fix gives an innocent third party (CLG) a larger, unwarranted disadvantage.

3) By changing the bracket, they not only unjustly gave CLG a harder bracket placement, but also gave TSM (one of the implicated parties) an easier route. As Rambo said on HSGG's stream, "Riot thinks EG will give TSM an advantage, so they change the bracket and guarantee that TSM gets an advantage."

4) It is COMPLETELY irrelevant that CLG should be able to beat these teams in order to proceed. Underdogs win, upsets happen. This is life, not a question of whether 2 is bigger than 1.

5) By changing the rules, Riot is stepping into unchartered territory in competitive gaming. This is not what you want to do; this is blatantly unprofessional decision is what is holding Riot back from being a successful competitive game.

CLG deserves a better explanation than the one given by RiotNick. Riot, if you go through with this, you honestly need to explain your reasoning and thought process behind this change, and why suspending Dan Dinh is not a better choice.
The on point I disagree about is suspending Dan. Unless he actually says he plans to throw it, they should take no action to remove him from a position he has earned.

For those of you who feel like trolling, or think changing seeds means nothing. Read this.

CLG earned their #1 seed. That means they would have been playing the lowest seed #19, DINO.

Because of the change, they're now playing EG, #7.

If you don't see the massive problem with this you're lost.

Why have seeds then? Put the names in a hat and do it that way.

I need to side with CLG on this issue.

Imagine what people would think of the NCAA tourney if they decided to switch around 2 teams (after seeding) based on concern of someone "throwing a game?" This small change has major ramifications on a much broader scale - it diminishes the integrity of LoL as an e-sport.

You can't act based off of a belief, especially if it hurts a team that isn't even involved in the issue at hand.

They switched two teams that were extremely close, keep crying CLG, at least you have an excuse when you crash out now.

Dreamhack qualifiers represent those that are at the pinnacle of skill in their region. Seeding is a matter of perception and regardless of seed a team must prove they are a top three team to attend the finals; this includes who they play in the first round.

We stand by our seeding but acknowledge your concern, again this decision has nothing to do with TSM or CLG, integrity in eSports is a paramount concern.
Meh, reason i dont play ranked, when you guys just screw with it when you see fit anyways. as this just proved, why try to be the best, when being 2nd best is better?
