Stating facts here:
Solo queue=RANDOM LUCK whether or not if you get the bad team or not.

Duo-q with partner same elo= YOUR TEAMS LOWER ELO AKA WORSE and the other team HIGHER ELO AKA STOMPING YOUR ENTIRE TEAM.

Duo-q with partner lower elo than you=your teams average (like they should be, no extensive bull**** feeding), other team is complete ****.

If you've done ranked games you'll know exactly what I mean, if you haven't played rank don't even try insulting me. I duo-q with a partner lower elo and I get a ****ty team I can easily dominate, checked there elos and they were all lower than most of the people on my team. Duo-q'd with a friend of mine with the SAME elo as mine, and our entire team was lower than the other team, every single one of them.

Last game I just played leblanc mid, my duo-q partner jungle xin, he starts at mini-golems and the Ezreal who INSISTED on soloing top and not letting my bud take akali solo, he auto-locked in ezreal without hesitation. The Ezreal leashes and stays to take the exp so xins now ****ed for another minute in the jungle, what's worse is it's brand vs Ezreal and the brand gets first blood on the Ezreal. I gank and kill the brand pz and go back to my lane and dominate the Jax (LOL) and end up killing him a couple of times. Anywho, Xin helps top, helps bot, wards up, I ward up, but our entire team does nothing but feed, ***** about no ganks (which he was) and they don't even ward? I get better teams in pub which is the hilarious part about this.

My team ends up feeding the brand to 19/3/4 (In a ranked.) when I'm the only one who killed him 3 times, only died to him late-game after he acquired about 16 kills, somehow. Whelp there you go another 15 elo down the drain, game before that was even worse with the feeding of my team.

FIX YOUR ELO SYSTEM, you should play with a team of your level, vs the team of your level. A 50 level elo gap is a huge difference, I even get unranked kids who are doing there first ranked game when I've already done like 80.

!?!??! Shouldn't happen. 1251 elo now, it could be worse though and I'm surprised it not. Not surprised 75% of this community should only be doing normals instead of wasting there time in elo if they don't care about it. Had a drunk blitzcrank who afk'd MID-FIGHT and was missing every single pull. LOL? COME ON.

I agree. I play Leblanc all the time, help my lanes so much and do fantastic in late game team fights. Team doesn't ward and doesn't pick proper roles even though I tell them what to pick.

fun fun fun

yeah, all those high elo people just got there through random luck, no skill involved or anything. Then they did it again on smurf accounts...twice

I know the ranking system can never be perfect, but the op is right. The rankings should consist of more than just wins and losses. It should take into account your k/d/a, turret and structure damage done, farm, and what is considered good out of those stats for the type of champion you are. For example,

Support, carry, tank, pusher, fighter, mage, etc. Each champion should have a primary role that they are supposed to fill regardless of the other roles they are capable of. This would indicate what your champ is primarily specialised in and what is considered good/bad/normal for their role.

Better yet, maybe in ranked after you select your champion, you should also have to select a role from a list of the different roles to indicate what you plan on doing for your team and lock it in. This way the game can recognise what you are supposed to be doing. This would eliminate the issue with people that decide they are going to tank with janna instead of going pure support (hypothetical scenario).

I play to win and when I'm doing everything I can in my power to ensure a victory, my team falls through the cracks and show that mindless kids below the age of 14 and/or foreigners speaking another language or not even speaking at all are not there to back me up or don't even really care if they lose.

It shouldn't be this way though, if you're getting nothing but bad teams and you're stuck within the same elo-range for 400 ranked games, that's pretty ****ing stupid. The only solution is creating a smurf getting 30 and playing dumb like half of these kids that play ranked do, get a good ol' 900 elo and have someone log on your account and duo-q with you so you can get brain-dead enemies that might as well be bots.

You'd think on the way to level 30 you'd be learning a champion you like, learning what playstyle best fits your own, and learning the basic mechanics of the game such as the very obvious one(s), warding and buying health pots with the extra money you have when you get boots. I can't tell you how many times in ranked I've seen people buy boots and no pots and never do because they want to 'save money'.

Yeah. If you are somewhere between 1100 and 1350 the teams are just far too friggin variable. If you get the guy on his first ranked game who should be 900 elo then its just gg.
