What gave me the idea for this was an aura taric. And i noticed in that game how easily it was for me to ignore minions when fighting and harassing. Esp on top/bottom. Just duck into a bush and they lose you.

Champion concept: He is a force to be reconed with, but only with the army at his back. A support/tank that increases the power of all around him. Without minion waves or champions for him to command he is not much of a threat.

Passive: Deputize "Every 5 seconds a random nearby minion is healed to full, comes to your side, and is directly controlled by you until death. Max of 4 minions at any time. Any minion that has been Deptuized gains double effect from all of your abilities."

Q - Rally to Me! "All nearby minions and deputies immediatly run to your aid, ranged minions gain a attack speed buff and melle minions gain a move speed buff and added slow effect on hit. The next enemy champion to strike you in 2/3/4/5/6 seconds gains the "Attack!" debuff, causing all minions to chase them unrelentingly for 1/2/3/4/5 seconds."

Purpose: During laning cast this and minions will harass the enemy harder. the AS buff on ranged means more shots but still able to out range, the melle means they can accualy catch you, its a minor buff. Enough to make them even with you if you buy boots. The slow means once caught you can be hit a little bit. Buff is short early making it easy to dodge hitting the general, and the debuff is short early. After the debuff wears off they immediatly lose aggro on you and go to the closest minion.

W - Hold the line! "All minions deptuies and champions around you gain an armor and magic resistance buff as well as a small heal, similar to alistairs"

Purpose: Spam it to heal minions and yourself, helps keep your army alive. Same thing as alis heal.

E - Charge! " All minions immediatly gain a move speed buff and charge forward for 1/2/3/4/5 seconds immedatly targeting the nearest enemy champion with Attack! for the same duration. Minions ignores command if in combat."

Purpose - To make a minion wave move with rapid pace down the lane, fast enough to catch up and help your existing minion wave. Also provides a more reliable way to use the Attack debuff to your advantage but disallows for easy abuse for a minion wave already there.

R - War Cry "The general lets loose a wary cry increasing the damage, ability power, life steal, spell vamp, of all near by champions and minions. The general also gains move speed and attack speed."



Method of Play


Early in the game you last hit and use Q whenever they try to harass to make the minions harass back, but harder, and since attack keeps them on you you cant just duck into a bush. Use your W to heal and keep them up, when a minion wave is weak and the next wave is near run back a bit and use your E to get a free attack debuff onto the enemys.

The problems he presents during laning phase are you accualy have to fight the minions. You *CANT* ignore them or let them pile up, which could happen through spam healing and charge bringing them quicker than yours. You also cant be as agressive with harassing because the minions can really hurt. The deputies server so that hes not ENTIRLY worthless as they behave exactly like re spawning minions. They spawn and follow you, they obey attack debuff rules, heals, ect.

Mid game he is a tank with a small but spammable heal and the ability to greatly empower those large waves of minions that build up in lanes to push. His AR/MR gains per level as well as HP would be rather high. In team fights his buffs (which would FAR EXCEED sonas terrible persistant aura effects) and ability to not die would be his primary purpose.

To scale into late game instead of scaling off of ap or ad for his abilities, the bonuses given to champions and minions we be based off a % of the corosponding stat. an eample is his Hold the Line! ability. It grants AR and MR to minions. When he is at 30mr it could grant a total of 10. at 100:30.

In this way being able to hit a small heal on minions that tops them off from half hp, and grants them a 100 armor buff, means they can still do damage and push.

When the general is on the feild all of those cannon fodder minions in the way of you tower diving that champion become a real force thayt you have to deal with. You cant just use your Piltover Peacemaker and clear the entire wave anymore.

this is not gona work, in team fight where are no minions around ur basically useless.

you could be the guy that pushes a 2nd lane while you tower dance in mid by using charge to merge two waves of miniosn and then run them over to the enemy tower really quick, letting a 3rd merge with your 2 wave army as you go. 9 melle 9 ranged a tank and yourself pushing on a tower would chew it apart like a fed yi or trynd.

in a team fight you would be an aura machine and a tower tank, also a aoe healer to help negate pokes. maybe give him a cc or an aoe slow on something to help with team fights.

you could jsut split push though, be more effective.
