Our teams are looking into the issues that several people are experiencing with the new patcher.

Some things that have been working for people:
- Run as administrator
- Give the patcher some time to run
- Do not click during League of Legends logo
- Be sure to install to C:\Riot Games

Please know that everything will be fixed when the patcher is hot fixed/updated. Please try the following as a temporary work around:

Update:Please provide the logs in your RADS folder so we can view the different errors that people are receiving. This will greatly help us to resolve the issue throughout different environments. These logs will be forwarded directly to our RADS team for further review.

Update: I would like to thank everyone again for providing their logs and information about the patcher. This is the most recent update I have received from our RADS team.

1. Download http://l3cdn.riotgames.com/releases/...ser_kernel.exe
2. Replace /RADS/system/rads_user_kernel.exe with this file.
3. Try launching it again

How about an old patcher which works?

People have tried all those things and it still won't work, yet earlier today we could all play.

This is unacceptable imo.

Looks like I won't be playing for a long time, after supporting this game for a long time now buying skins etc but oh well.

I click the icon, league portrait pops up. It sits on screen for a second or two, than closes. That's it. The process shows in task manager for the duration, than closes. I've ran in admin mode, and restarted my PC.

A friend had a ISP failure while dowloading the update, now it seems the whole thing is damaged, he is already trying to uninstall and reinstall the whole thing, but he claims there are a lot of errors displaying everytime he tries t update

The patcher is launched in working form after being checked for several weeks and tests. When being presented with so many different environments(our users computers) there will be some intermittent issues since not everyone runs the same settings/operating systems.

With the help of the community providing their logs and insight we can resolve these issues more thoroughly across all environments.

My computer freezes when I try and download the new patcher
