This is getting really boring facing them alot. The risk vs reward factor with champions really is out of wack.



Why play glass cannons when beefy champions out shine them. If riot really wants this game to be a esport or whatever they need to look at this issue.

I think it's just easier to win with tanky dps if everyone is not playing optimally. That's why i play that style at least. Low elo is good lulz sometimes.

beefy dps teams can be a nuisance but there are items to counter them. Thornmail for the auto attackers, Black Cleaver for the armor based champs, and voidstaff for the MR based champs.

Pack a bit of CC like Exhuast and work together as a team and you shall have no problem.

The problem with tanky DPS is that a balanced team takes teamwork to beat them.

You aren't gonna find teamwork in 1200~ solo queue.

Hence tanky DPS rules because they can just rush in without any planning or coordination and win, and countering them means everyone on the team doing their job well. That just doesn't happen.

I think there should be more items like Last Whisper and Void Staff. Super lategame they simply don't seem to cut it (tanky dudes with 300 armor, 200 mr still dishing out a lot of damage in relation to a carry with ~4 offensive items.

This is pretty accurate, except you still need a few specific items/champs to counter. Especially in un-ranked, you find yourself going up against an entire team of beefy guys or multiple tanks and you simply cannot win. 40% penetration is nothing when you're a caster with cooldowns to work around and the 3.5HP Mundo cleavers you nearly to death with a few throws while you try to escape. Beefy didn't work back in the AoE stomp comp days because team fights were won with massive amounts of burst to ALL champions. Now it's much more common for a comp to focus on picking off one champion at a time.

And when the enemy team is full of tanky guys you simply cannot focus them anywhere near as fast as they can focus you. By time you have one half dead they're killed one and half of your team.
