I'll give it a try and see if it improves my gameplay.

No luck. Changed it to vista basic and still experiencing the same exact fps dips. I'll try putting it in windows classic tomorrow to see if that will have any effect.

What FPS are you getting? Try reading this as well:

When its running smoothly, I get between 40-60 fps...but when it dips, it goes down to about 4-10 fps. There is no correlation between the dips and whats happening ingame, I could be standing in an empty lane doing nothing and a dip will occur.

I've tried all the options listed on that page...except for the vertical sync option. Its a bit late on my end now so I'll have to test it tomorrow to see if that will work.

How many processes do you have open that utilize your Hard Drive? Go to task manager > performance > resource monitor.

According to resource monitor, I have 13 processes that run on their on if I exclude Firefox, the task manager, and the performance monitor itself. That's under the CPU.

O_o Under memory I have a lot of stuff apparently using the physical memory. 39% used.

Check the Disk tab to see what is utilizing your Hard Drive.

Do you normally have Firefox open when you play?

No I don't. At my bro's advice that it may be causing the cpu spikes, I always have it off when I'm playing LoL.

Also close down any running programs other then vent, also I close the vista sidebar.

Edit: Well darn, I tried gamebooster to turn off the "nonessential" programs that were running in the bg but no luck, Once again I still got fps drops, though they were noticeably fewer inbetween, but not by much.
