Get GP. The less Teemos this game has, the happier the world will be.

Teemo sucks compared to preatty much every other Carry now but he is very very fun to play.

Both champions are good at defending lanes without being there
Both champions can abuse the battlefield as a weapon against the enemy, whether it be using the jungle to act as walls so people may not escape the blast or to bait them into a series of traps
Both have a hard hitting Q with the right set up
Both have a powerful DoT
Both have very strong Map control
Both move very quickly
Both need farm to do well
Both are reliant on their teams knowing how to play with said champions (using their strengths rather then just hoping for the best)

Gangplank is able to control a "flow" of a lane, he's the only champion who can pull a minion wave towards his turret every wave while still last hitting
Gangplank has a Global ult, allowing him to provide support from anywhere
Gangplank gains extra gold on Parrrley kill
Parrrley applies on hit effects
Grog Soaked Blade is OP out the @#%$, for being a passive. If you can use it, it works wonders
Gangplank has a built in steroid (Raise Morale's passive/active, though the latter is harder to use).
Gangplank has a built in Cleanse/heal that works on suppression

Teemo has mushrooms, and with AP those shrooms eat champions who walk into a bush unaware.
Free wards, who doesn't like that?
Blinding Dart = Hard counter for most Physical Carries
Move Quick = Rodent moving at light speed
Built in DoT on auto attack
Ranged
Tricky passive, can abuse on enemies not used to dealing with a Teemo that fires 7 darts in 2 seconds.
Has an AoE on a short cooldown that can farm well
Tank Teemo = Epic

Both are decent champions... anyone who says they're "bad" isn't using them to their strengths. Gangplank is a very good asset to a team, his ult can make or break teamfights, and keeps enemies away from the jungle if played right. He's also hard to catch and kill if he's in the right position, a built in cleanse does that. He's the only champion in the game that can Deny or Pull a lane.

Teemo on the other hand has a built in stealth passive, which he can use to trick enemies into thinking he's long gone (this does work well if you're smart). He's all about espionage, using traps, stealth, speed, and any trick he has up his sleeve to win fights (see Blinding Dart and Toxic Shot).

Both these characters are strong with the right teams, both of them are also unique compared to most other champions in the game. I personally prefer GP myself, but I've seen Teemos wreck a Physical carry when built AP with a Lichbane (Ashe is so squishy when she can't use her lifesteal).

Depends on what you like/tolerate in a champ really. If you don't mind being the weakest champ defense-wise and like blind, poison, shrooms and running fast, get teemo. Don't know much about GP...

Hextech gunblade, deathcap, nashor or PD and you can do some nasty damage, frozen mallet, abyss scepter, and it gets ugly.
Until the enemy veigar starts walking up and one shotting you.

Gangplank. Because, everybody has a game in solo queue where your teammates are all arguing/fighting/not doing what they're supposed to be doing.

So, you start playing Trollplank against any Annies/Teemos/Heims/Mordes/Malzs/Shacos/etc. that have a minion or can create a targetable ally. Raise Morale, GOGOGOGO. Morde managed to ult himself a ghost? Raise Morale, gogogogogo. Heim sets up a turret? Raise Morale, gogogogogo.

Don't do this often or anything. But, when you know it's a /ff at 25, sometimes it'll improve your mood.

love the posts on here, neither Teemo nor Gangplank are bad. there are much worse characters.

Go with Teemo, he is way more fun.
