Without surrender players will just fake AFK until the other team has won. The more you play the less and less you'll see this in game.

It's more the WAY those first few ganks happen that can let you know how the game is going to go than the simple fact that they happened. Stuff like ignoring MIA calls, Janna standing her ground with like 150 hp left while a really threatening hero charges at her, multiple teammates with joke item builds, any number of things.

I agree, players need to be more aggressive in groups. It's kinda obnoxious when 2/5ths of your team is sitting in the jungle when there are turrets to be had. A 5 man rush can be easily broken by a solo back dooring x2.
