If you are already losing it doesn't matter.

Ok, then your gonna run the risk of being reported, which may lead to a ban.
And if someone can be manipulated into leaving so easy then you probaly have the tendancy to leave anyways so you should be punished, or will be punished anyways down the line.

ELO score is supposed to be a measure of a players skill, and it really shouldn't be used as a punishment point system.

But ELO really dosent accuratly measure a players skill when 4 others players can define your outcome. And though you could be stomping the other team, a quitter can turn that win into a loss. Now that dosent truly measure your skill very well, does it?

And IMO leavers should be punished more since they are in some cases, helping define your skill level by ruining your elo. Or if on the winning team VSing the team with a leaver, gaining ELO you truly didnt deserve. (in some cases) If the punishment regarding ELO loss for leaving is to harsh it could always be changed.

But if you win a 4v5 even though you had a leaver, shouldnt you be rewarded more ELO? Your giving ELO based on how good your team is VS theirs, in a 5v5 situation. Now thats its 4v5 you should recieve a little more elo because you won a game you, in theory, should of loss.
