I'm pretty sure a red post said that the chance is on a per entity basis. You can't just charge non-crits on a minion and then expect a crit on a hero because the minion and the hero each have their own crit evaluation tracker.

That said, if you rely on streaks, you will note a hit, but as your critical percentage goes up higher, the system is less and less pronounced.

(For example, at 1% crit, streak chances go down by an order of 10 to 100. At 50% crit, streak chances only go down by 40% from a pure RNG. Numbers aren't totally accurate. Streak means misses *or* crits streaks.)
So looks like either stack loads of crit or none at all. System is not abusable.
Raise Morale getting deny removed. blah blah blah

I love math nerds that try to compare attack speed, attack damage, and crit chance as if they were equivalent. Attack speed will kill towers and jungle creeps, and that is all it is good for. Perhaps if you spent too long playing level 10 summoners you could get the idea that more attack speed will actually let you send 4-5 consecutive autoattacks at their carry, but this thinking is flawed. Standing in autoattack range for longer than one attack severely increases your chances of immediately dying, which is why every smart player will always skew their items towards doing higher damage less often (with the sole exception of champs that *actually* synergize with ASPD like junglers and tower munchers).

Gangplank does very well by building a triforce in any order, which can be complimented with crit chance runes that makes parley a very volatile solution for combat or even harrassing if 1v1 isn't possible, gangplank with crit chance (starting off with 8-16% with no items, just runes) and buying any part of triforce can totally beat up any mordekaiser in melee combat early game. Phage would compliment his lack of survivability and phyical damage, and Sheen would double up the ammount of damage dealt on crit, while Zeal increases his speed and the safety of harrassment, specially to abuse parley for double damage crits. Added up with triforce, just boots are needed to have a very decent damage, it just depends on how far you can take it from there on, depending on who you are facing in the game.
