I was just wandering how exactly the "damage" that comes from the mana drain on Wits End Actually works. It says "up to 42 mana drained" and then damage for every point drained. What determines how much mana is drained and how much dmg is recieved. It seems like a decent item if you get the 40% attk spd, mana drain, magic resist and then "up to 42 Dmg". It is fairly cheap and brings alot to your char depending on your enemy heroes. Just wandering

If they have 50 mana you hit for your damage, drain 42 mana and they take 42 more damage. When you hit them again they will have about 8-10 mana so you will hit for your damage, drain for 8-10 mana and they take 8-10 more damage

i think. thats the way it worked in dota

Related question...

I never use this thing, but I was wondering if the damage done by the mana burn effect is true damage, magic damage, or physical damage. Anyone test this before?

Magic damage equal to the amount of mana burned.
