I recently tried to patch my League of Legends Mac client, and every time, the end result was an "Update Failed" error. I was running the client off an external hard drive; however, while it was patching, I noticed that my internal drive was filling up. Furthermore, when the update failed and the patcher closed, the space that the client had used during that patching attempt didn't go away; it stayed used. I'm assuming that the League of Legends patcher caches files on the internal hard drive no matter where it is installed. Where does it cache these files? I need to clear out a significant amount of hard drive space on my internal, and I'm pretty sure League cache files are eating a good six or so gigs of space.
