If you took out these items, and tried to balance abilities, there would have to be an ability specifically just to see Eve, Twitch, etc.

This would be considered a waste of a spell slot, and also, every team would have to include a hero that has this said ability. I'd be rather annoying to have to choose a hero JUST on the off-chance that there might be a stealther that you need to see.

Furthermore, without oracles, any other hero would stand no chance against these stealthers without assistance. In the current game, even oracles doesn't mean you'll automatically take down every Eve or Twitch you see. I've killed plenty of players with oracles by waiting in bushes, running up when they're weak, etc.

Or I can just switch lanes. If they just put down a vision ward, well, there's a waste of gold for then.

Aqueel, he is on a campaign to have stealth removed from the game. He thinks it is a broken mechanic because you have to actually try to counter it.

Echo7 if you would make game (what you are incapable of doing in the first place) - that game would have the worst possible gameplay and balance.

You fail to understand or fail to read.

Seems that in your world items should counter champion abilities and as a FACT, you think that choosing to buy executioners calling against champions with heals is skill. Well, for you it may take skill to think that out, but for the most this is just basic knowledge that have nothing to do with skill.

This kind of items ARE NOT NEEDED and RUINS BALANCE.

Once again, you haven't actually said how items should not counter champion types.

Or are you going to continue to try to build more and more complex smoke screens to evade doing so, in spite of your quote?

Executioner's counters them healing, armor pen counters them stacking armor, magic pen counters them stacking magic resist, armor counters physical damage, magic resist counters ability damage, snares counter move speed, drains counter mana reliant champs, debuff procs counter near everything now, oracles and wards counter stealth/backdooring/lane swaps and baron/golem/lizard/drake killing.

And those are just items.

Now what game are you playing again that items aren't used to counter champion abilities?

Or are you going to keep dodging the questions?

This is my argument - you are talking about countering one STACKING with ANOTHER and it has NOTHING to do with DISABLING or WEAKENING certain champion skills. Eg healing and stealth.

magic pen <-> magic resist,
armor <-> physical damage,
magic resist <-> ability power

This is right? One counters other. <---BALANCE (note that even this can be imbalanced if for example getting damage costs more than getting armor to counter it, etc)

Next, the same thing, that you dont get:

executioners calling -> mundo, soraka, etc - heals in general (see the one sided arrow - executioners calling counters them, but they cant counter executioners calling)

executioners calling <- ???

No way to counter! Whaa, what a surprise! You can counter one way, but cant in other! Nice huh? GET IT?

In real situation there IS counter (sad one):


executioners calling <-> Not getting healing champion, not playing mundo or healing support

Here i have an idea for you Semei... Lets take out stealth, stuns, slows, and any other kind of disabling and/or countering skill. Then all we have left are nukes. Then we will just 5v5 and see who wins by who can blow their load first.
Sound like a good idea? If not, then SHUT THE **** UP!
