Huge fps drop ( dropping to 20 fps sometimes)since today patch on a Core 2 quad 2.66Ghz with a GTX 295.
Never happen before.

Edit: official post by RIOT update there: http://www.leagueoflegends.com/board...ad.php?t=37199

I'm getting terrible fps also bouncing from 20-70 seemingly at random. Looking at different parts of the map regardless of fog seems to be the issue. I'm going to go out on a limb and blame one of the christmas textures\doodads. Lowering details does help either.

Running Win XP on a C2D @ 2.4ghz with a GTS 250.

Edit: This happens on both maps so it's probably not a christmas thing

Same problem here. Game stutters a lot now with hero movement, map movement and plays like it's on a computer with 256meg of RAM. Dunno what you guys did but it was flawless before.

Windows 7 Pro 64bit
3ghz Core 2 Duo
4gigs RAM
Nvidia GTX280 1gig

On a side note, I use my 40inch LCD TV to play using a custom resolution @ 1080p (1828*1028). But this was never a problem before so it shouldn't be now.

Please address this in a timely fashion, it's very annoying.

Love the game otherwise, been playing since early beta and can't get enough=)

Cheers,
North

Just gonna make a wild guess... but it seems to be Core 2 related...

Having this same issue, the game is near unplayable. Previously had no issues on the highest settings at 1920x1200.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHZ

Nvidia Geforce GTX 260

4 GBs ram

Windows 7 64 bit

Posting to say I am experiencing the same game-killing frame rate tanks as others in this thread are. Pre-patch everything ran beautifully on the highest settings, now I experience regular frame rate dips.

Intel Core2 Extreme Q6850 @ 3.00Ghz
Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX
4 Gigs RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Actually... what's weird is that everyone here has a core 2 *and* an nVidia card...
