The burden of proof is on you before him.

I'm higher ELO than you, does that make me right and you wrong automatically if I agree with him?

If you want competitive play then yes. HoN is for you.
The learning curve is steep though and you could need 1-2 years to actually get
into some competitive games.

LoL is also competitive but only like 1/10 as much as HoN, you won't get far here.

Yet, the future of HoN is uncertain because of DotA 2.
HoN won't die though since they change the game drastically lately to become somewhat of an DotA alternative.

all I have to say to this - lmfao.

I don't have to prove anything to you. I know this isn't my main account.

And FYI 1500+ Elo is the top 1% of ranked players. I'm rated 1536

1500+ may be in the top 1% of ranked players, but that still doesn't prove that your decent. Maybe your on a hot-streak against the MM system, maybe your just a little bit better then the average player. Either way it doesn't matter, 1536 Isn't that high, and certainly isn't a high ranking game. How do I know? I got friends that are in the top 10 of ranked solo, friends in the top 25 of ranked solo, and friends in the top 50 of ranked solo. (The person I was making a reference about was #1 in ranked solo for quite a while too)

Try watching the matches of players in the highest tiers of play and see how much stuff they do, that you forget to do.

You can play both games. I just started LoL last week and it doesn't seem to be having a negative effect on my HoN playing. Well I don't know much about LoL, so I can't compare.

HoN is a very competitive game. Even in the 'noob' games you'll get raged at a lot for screwing up. I know that's not what you mean by competitive but it comes with the territory. I only play pubs in HoN, despite playing DotA for about 5 years before HoN came out. Learning curve is not as steep as you might think, imo.

It's still similar in the way of hero roles except for Tanks. Tanks do not work very well in HoN because people will just ignore you until the rest of your team is dead. CC = Win most of the time. However, you can get an active item to become magic immune for 5-8 seconds.

I'm rambling, you can find all the info you need at their site.
