So, as far as I know, there's no tools out there on the Internet that allow you to easily install mods to the official Mac client. The only known way is to do it manually, but here's the problem; I don't know which folders the files go into.

For example, I want to install a custom skin for Annie, but I checked the package contents of the official LoL Mac client and there's folders for Annie in and Do I put them in the folder representing the latest patch ( or do I put them in the older one?

There is currently no method of modding the official Mac client. The folder structure isn't as simple as Windows where things can just be dragged and dropped. I would recommend just waiting until an application is released that will do it all for you.
