Barb and Soraka. Soraka is a moving fountain giving barb (the ultimate carry hero) the power to lane and own eventually carrying the entire team.

This seems like a waste, as Barb does not use Mana. Probably better to combine him with another support hero like Taric, Jana, or Alistar.

Tryndamere is much better off with Taric than Soraka. You can lane much more aggressively with him if he has heals and a stun supporting him. Shatter makes it even better. It's almost a perfect match.

Master Yi and Kayle
Early game Kayle's movement speed buffs and heals make Yi a obnoxious harasser. but the true glory of the combo is mid to late game. Highlander (immune to slowing effects) + Intervention (immune to everything else) = 6 seconds of invulnerable p4wnage. Yi's already frightening speed plus Kayle's buff and slow make it almost impossible to run away, while 6 seconds of invulnerability can assist a Yi with vampiric heal pretty much to full hp.

Twitch and Evelynn
step one: stealth
step two: position
step three: rape
repeat untill victory

Oh! This sounds like a lot of fun! I've been mearning to learn Yi as well.
