He barely did anything except push, unless the other team was terribad and fed, I guess that was the reason for the nerf?

Before the changes:

Basically, before the changes, Mordekaiser needed a slave to rape the team.
He had to either do the ignite/ult combo and make sure the person he ulted died, or else his teammates would die and he'd be running away from a 1v5.

Now, Mordekaiser does not need a slave, and it's ok if he doesn't get one.
It will help a lot, but it won't be needed.
If he does not get a slave, he will still do good damage.

Before the changes, Mordekaiser's slave had what, 500000000000k+ HP, while ditching out more damage than the enemy carry you killed?

Now it's much more balanced. His ultimate now initially does more damage, so you don't have to use it as a finisher.

Before, you were completely reliant on getting a slave.
